Chesterfield county schools are closed today, due to snow, and so we will not meet.

I have received word that St. Michael's has cancelled Sunday services for tomorrow morning. They want to reschedule Scout Sunday participation for next Sunday, February 14th. I am not sure what your personal schedules are for Sunday the 14th, but I ask that you make plans to participate if you can.

It looks like we'll have plenty of snow for the trip -- they've had over 3 feet in the last week! The details of the trip were e-mailed to the yahoo mail group on 2/6. If you didn't receive it, let me know at joeirbyva@aol.com and I'll forward you a copy.

Just a reminder that, weather permitting, you are asked to support Scout Sunday by joining the troop and pack, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, for their morning worship service. The service starts at 10:30 AM. You need to arrive at or shortly after 10:00 AM. We have volunteered to serve as readers and ushers during the service. Two Scouts will be assigned the reading parts and two Scouts will be assigned as their backup/understudy.

Uniform will be Class A. If the service is delayed or cancelled, we will send out an email and we'll update this website. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you Sunday morning to support Scouting and our relationship with our chartered organization.

Due to the weather earlier this week, we rescheduled the February PLC and Adult Leader's meeting for Tuesday evening, February 9th, at 7:00 and 7:30 PM respectively.

The weekend weather forecast is such that we are compelled to postpone this weekend’s Eagle Court of Honor for Doug and Carter. Earlier in the week, we had hoped that the forecasts would change from a heavy winter storm to, at worst, a cold and rainy day. Unfortunately, that has not happened.

We do not have an alternative date at this time. We will look at the church and troop calendars to find the next best date.
