The Family Life merit badge classes are finished and our last 2 check off sessions will be on March 30 and April 20 both at 7:00pm at St. Michael's.

Good news! The Heart of Virginia council has been awarded an 9th Troop for Jamboree 2010. That opens an additional 36 slots for Scouts and it led to my promotion to serve as the Scoutmaster for this new Troop.

We are working out the final details for the upcoming outing on the 28th. We are still planning to camp even if we do not have shotgun activities. D

We have posted a PDF-formatted report of Scout advancement on the site. This report comes from the TroopMaster software program. We will plan to post revisions periodically.

Good Sunday afternoon! The classroom phase of the Family Life merit badge is over and participating Scouts should be now in the "check off" phase. The Dunn's will be at the Scout room by 7:15 PM tomorrow evening to check off assignments and to answer questions.

If we are lucky enough to have an appreciable snowfall then it is quite likely that schools will be closed. If Chesterfield county schools are closed tomorrow, then we will not have a Scout meeting tomorrow night.
